Bowie Assisted Living, Inc. is a facility that is nicely finished in an Italian Tuscany style, with decorative wood beams and marble. We are licensed to accommodate up to 15 residents and can handle level 3 of care. By utilizing a mixture of private, semi-private rooms we are able to provide the appropriate care at a very affordable rate. Our facility provides care in 4 languages English, Spanish, Russian, and Lithuanian so it is not uncommon to hear accents. Many of the staff talk 2 to 3 languages including English. So your loved one can be cared for in their native language. The owner/manager is also fluent in 4 languages. On the day that our facility was visited it was a cloudy rainy day and many of the residents to felt sleepy. Since our facility handles a majority of level 3 residents it is not unusual to have some of the residents take a much needed nap in the afternoon after lunch. If you are young, healthy, and looking for all day social activities Bowie Assisted Living, Inc. may not be appropriate for you or your loved one. SonRise partnered with Kilwins of Coral Springs for our Ice Cream Social Fundraiser. Jacqueline L. Jimenez, News Producer, promoted the event within the community. Families experienced a Sundae delight on Sunday. Entertainment was provided by Karen Barak who used songs, storytelling, bongo drums, and other instrument to engage and educate the attendees. It was a delightful afternoon of fellowship, fun, and food.

I do not recommend this facility for the care of anyone. They were very cruel and disrespectful to my loved one. I had to insist on air conditioning for her room in July. Her room was not air conditioned but the rest of the house was air conditioned. It did not register to them that my mother was suffering in the heat. Do not leave your love one at this dumpy facility.

We toured In Loving Hands and we liked the smaller setting. It was a professional experience while seeing all they have to offer. However they did not have a private apartment available.

THe staff was great with my father during his short time at In Loving Hands. MY Dad was not aggressive with the staff while they washed or changed him. I wish we had known about In Loving Hands prior to my father’s transition. It wasn’t far from my parents home and my Mom didn’t have to drive the beltway. the staff was friendly and demonstrated a true since of caring for my dad. THey made my Dad comfortable during his last days. The assisted living facility is very homey and they engage the patients and is very clean. I plan to volunteer some of my time to the assisted living facility in the future and have been referring others to the facility!!!!
