My wife and I have been residents in independent living here for almost five years. We are very pleased to be here. The friendliness of the other residents, as well as the staff makes us feel right at home. During the recent Covid outbreak the staff took all precautions to protect us, including delivering meals to our home. There are daily activities, including adult educational opportunities, as well as outdoor activities including a swimming pool and bocce. The evenings have entertainment and movies. We enjoy the food and the company of good friends.

VA Aid and Attendance and Housebound Enhanced Monthly Pension
The VA Aid and Attendance and Housebound programs are two special monthly pensions that provide eligible veterans and survivors with cash benefits that can be used to pay assisted living costs.
In order to qualify for either benefit, applicants must be currently eligible for the regular VA pension. Applicants who were previously denied the regular VA pension due to excess income may now be eligible because these special pension programs are based on a higher income limit.
To apply for Aid and Attendance, applicants must:
- Live in a nursing facility as a result of physical and/or mental deterioration
- Need help from a caregiver to perform activities of daily living
- Be restricted to bed due to a chronic illness or disability
- Have concentric contraction of the visual field that limits the field of vision to 5 or fewer degrees
- Have 5/200 or worse eyesight when wearing prescription lenses
To apply for Housebound, applicants must:
- Have a single disability rated at 100% that restricts the applicant to their residence most of the time
Eligible applicants may receive either the Aid and Attendance or the Housebound benefit.

This is for the rehab center on the same campus. Unable to have contact with any staff/employee. Reasonable requests are difficult to get done. No update on covid info. for visitation. I am treated as an inconvenience when attempting to get answers for spouses care. Displeased with your operations.
