Reviews For Belmont Village Scottsdale
We checked all Assisted Livings in Scottsdale, and we are blessed to have found the Belmont Village. As an owner of Dementia Care Units in MA, I can tell you, look no further.A great facility with a great team, couldn’t ask for better.
My loved ones are living at this community now and they really like living here.
did not like this place at all. It was depressing because there were mostly people in wheelchairs who obviously needed a lot of care. Minimal activity. More like a nursing home. The place itself was nice but needs more life, more going on.
We just recently moved my mother and father in law into memory care at Belmont. We cannot say enough good things about all of the staff and facility. From the person at the front desk to the admin to the caregivers everyone has gone above and beyond to help make this a smooth transition. I have to also give extra praise to Christy and Sandy! These ladies are amazing. They truly are an advocate for the family and residents. They are always available to answer our questions and really helped us all through this process. We checked out several assisted living/memory care facilities and Belmont was hands down the best. It is clean and updated. The staff are all amazing. The caregivers and nurses really care and have taken wonderful care of both our parents. If we could give them 10 stars we wood! Thank you Belmont staff!

ALTCS Member-Directed Care
Scottsdale residents who are eligible for benefits through the ALTCS can enroll in one of two additional programs that cover certain types of senior care, including in-home services. Self-Directed Attendant Care allows Medicaid members to screen, hire and supervise their own paid caregivers. Agency With Choice is an alternative program where Medicaid members and home care agencies work together to hire and manage paid caregivers. These programs are open to Medicaid members who receive ALTCS benefits because they require nursing-level care.
Home and Community-Based Services
In Scottsdale, home and community-based services are provided by Area Agencies on Aging in partnership with the Arizona Department of Economic Security. Maricopa Countys Senior Adult Independent Living program allows individuals to remain in their own homes or in the community as opposed to living in a nursing home and health care facility.
SAIL assists with the cost of adult day care, delivered meals, home health aides, respite care and transportation. To qualify, individuals must be disabled or aged 60 or over and be unable to perform activities of daily living. Scottsdale residents can learn more or apply for benefits by calling the Area Agency on Aging, Region One Inc. at 888-264-2258. Our HCBS guide includes additional information about these services. There is a waiting list for this program. Applicants with the greatest social and economic needs are given priority.
