Reviews Ratings & Complaints
As a large organization, Brookdale Senior Living has a wide range of reviews with both positive and negative outcomes. A few key themes are present in these reviews. First, the location is known for providing innovative communities. Many of the locations across the country receive very positive reviews for being well staffed and providing highly skilled professionals for patient care. Residents also like the various resources and programs many of the locations offer.
It is important to consider each individual community, though. Because Brookdale Senior Living is so large, it is easy to see how each location will be vastly different from the next. Many of the companys locations have been purchased previously providing care.
Residents with complaints about this community system often worry about not enough staffing. Some also note that locations need to be updated but there is also evidence to suggest the community works hard to modernize locations.
One key benefit is their ability to provide customized care for each individual. The location can do this because it offers virtually every level of care in most states. This type of versatility is very important for many seniors and their families.
You can find more information and specific reviews here to help you with making your decision. Our database of reviews, ratings, and complaints are owned by our organization and provide you with a clear understanding of what real peoples opinions are.

Community Details At Brookdale Skyline
We were able to tour the Brookdale Skyline and it was a very very nice tour, the community itself is just beautiful. The apartments were so lovely, and they offered a meal service. The reason we did not choose Brookdale is because its to far out of town and we still very much like to drive around and socialize, however if you are one that would rather stick around the facility and enjoy their meal service this is the place for you.
Response from Brookdale Skyline
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and are sorry to hear you feel this way. The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority and we will share your concerns with our management team for review.
They have had some issues getting help. The help that does the cleaning don’t seem to come to work. I am looking to transfer my father at this time. There is one nurse for two floors so there is not a lot of help, they do the best. I do feel like this is too expensive for how much that they charge and the services provided . They don’t have enough help to take care of everyone. I spoke with both of the directors and there were a lot of promises in the beginning and now they are not being carried out, it only lasted for 2 weeks.

Community Details At Brookdale Broadmoor
This community was nice it just did not have the warm fuzzy feeling four our loved one that we were looking for. They were too big and we felt she would get lost in the shuffle.
Response from Brookdale Broadmoor
We deeply regret that we were unable to meet all of your expectations. We want to thank you for your feedback and please know it will be reviewed and used to better serve our residents and their families in the future.
I would recommend Brookdale Broadmoor. I think the community is good. The staff make it a good community. My loved one gets along with everyone. The staff are very good about answering all my questions.
We toured Brookdale Broadmoor and the facility seemed nice and the guy who showed us around was personable and friendly. I did not see many residents or staff members out and about so there was not a lot of interaction. I just did not get the same feel as I got at another facility.
Our family had a virtual tour because Brookdale was under a pretty strict lock down at the time, but the gentlemen that showed us around did a really good job. Given the circumstances the tour went really well.
Brookdale Broadmoor was too big for my taste. Because of it’s size, I was worried about my loved one not getting the care she needed. But the gentleman who ran the tour was very nice.
