The community wants to nickel and dime us. They charge for every little thing they do. I would like to see more menu options and a better variety of food options. The rooms are not cleaned but we pay for them to be. We end up doing everything ourdelves. I would not recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We did a tour with Brookdale Lake Mary and it was an average tour. There was nothing negative that we saw about the facility, we just felt like her needs would be met better at another place we had seen.
We chose Brookdale Lake Mary because originally he was in another Brookdale facility and the ease of transferring him to another one was great. They have been really good about communication with everything that has been going on. The only reason I gave the care a 3 is because of the speed at which they respond to his call button. That its the only issue we have had here as well as they seem understaffed. Overall it is a good facility and has been a good experience and I would recommend them to others looking.
Night nursing staff does not respond in timely manner. Some are uncaring. Everything else is standard or better. Day staff is great.
