My mother has been at Colebrook Village for about a year. She was one of the first to move in. Although she was anxious about the move it turned out to be great for her. She has a social life again and enjoys meals with her friends in the dining room . The staff is extremely attentive. Her apartment is beautiful. After a recent health crisis it was her desire to get back home to Colebrook Village that motivated her recovery. We cant say enough good things about the facility and the staff. Highly recommended.

HEBRON After breaking ground in January 2017, assisted- and independent-living facility Colebrook Village is now open.
The senior housing development sits at the farthest end of John E. Horton Boulevard, which empties onto Route 66 in the center of town.
Colebrook accepted its first round of residents May 29, according to Executive Director Pamela Atwood.
Atwood was most recently the director of dementia care at Hebrew Health Care in West Hartford, where she worked for 15 years. She started working in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities in 1990. Atwood is a Hebron resident and RHAM graduate, and she heard about Colebrook Village from her parents, who also live in town.
I couldnt stand the thought of someone bringing an assisted-living program to town and me not being involved, Atwood said.
She started at Colebrook in May 2017, more than a year before the facility opened its doors.
Colebrook is owned by Optimus Senior Management LLC, a Massachusetts-based company, Atwood said. Colebrook is the second Optimus facility in Connecticut, following Stonebrook Village in Windsor Locks. Atwood said Optimus is also developing a third facility in Bozrah.

Hebron Senior Living Facility Sells For $30 Million
A large senior living community on nearly 6.8 acres in Hebron sold for $30 million in December.
The property at 55 John E. Horton Blvd., hosts Colebrook Village, a 111,673-square-foot senior living facility with 113 apartments. The property was sold in December by a limited liability company controlled by Southampton, Mass.-based Everbrook Senior Living to WOJV Hebron LLC.
The town recorded the sale on Dec. 28.
According to CoStar, WOJV Hebron LLC is controlled by San Francisco-based White Oak Healthcare Finance. Attempts to reach a White Oak representative were not immediately successful Monday morning.
In 2019, White Oak Healthcare Finance announced plans to form a real estate investment trust focused on senior housing and skilled nursing properties and initially funded it with $500 million.
The WOJV Hebron LLC lists a Vienna, Virginia address in its state business filing. It also lists a White Oak Healthcare Finance email address as its contact.
