The project team consisting of Verity Commercial , IntegraCare , Bognet Construction , Architecture Incorporated, Buvermo Investments, and Indie Development hosted the groundbreaking ceremony of the 53,104-GSF, 62-unit senior living community in Great Falls, VA. The community offers 44 assisted living apartments and 18 memory care residences.
Verity is developing the project in partnership with IntegraCare, a senior living operator, operating since 1999 with 18 developments. Locally, IntegraCare completed Hunters Woods at Trails Edge in Reston, VA and Bay Village in Annapolis, MD.
While Great Falls is one of the most affluent towns in the country, 34% of its citizens are 55+ and there are currently only 86 senior living units in the town, said Herm Diebler, Co-Founder of Verity Commercial. We are filling an immediate need for this area.
The Residence at Colvin Run community offers seniors a great place to live with a distinctively different approach to senior living. It is designed to maintain the character and protect the look, feel, and environment of the area with more luxury than industry standard resident rooms, high quality construction, and its overall smaller cottage like size and feel, said Rick Irwin, Chairman of IntegraCare.
