This was our second choice for our loved one but our loved one did not want to go to this community

Our parents have lived at this facility for over 7 years. It is an excellent place that offers excellent care as well as has very good food. The people who work here are very caring and knowlegeable about elder care. This is true for all three levels which is unusual. The only issue is that there is a long waiting list. When my husband and I are in need of this type of care, I hope we will be able to be here.

This was a very nice looking place, like the other Homewood locations we toured. Everything looked great, it was an attractive facility with friendly staff. However, this location had a long waiting list at the time that we toured, and wasn’t an option for us for that reason.

Minimizes Urinary Tract Infections

In Homewood at Crumland Farms, 2.06% of Patients had UTIs

This is the percentage of patients that sustained a urinary tract infection. UTI’s are routinely linked to poor nursing care. Better nursing care limits the percentage of residents in a nursing home who suffer from UTI’s. Keep in mind that this metric is sometimes skewed by the fact that facilities have incongruent reporting standards for UTI’s.
