This place was horrible!!! Should be shut down!!!My dad died here under conditions that were so inhumane!!! If you don’t take my word for it,… go out into the community of Bloomington…. Talk to people outside of this place. You’ll get a real earful of how bad this place really is.

My mother has living in the assisted living for over 3 years and has absolutely loved it. I really like the woman at the front desk, . She always greets me with a smile and is very helpful. She was also over at the nursing home for awhile after a routine hip replacement. It was nice that she was in the same building when that happened. You don’t get that luxury all the time!

Everyday it was something. I had to call and deal with medication or something else. It finally started to get better by the end. But this was really a frustrating experience, and I am still waiting to hear back about the final bill, which needs adjusting.

This was not a good experience. There are things that weren’t being done for him, and there were medical issues that needed to be dealt with, and the nursing care wasn’t very good. They left his nails dirty everyday, and they only would shower him once a week, and if he refused it he wouldn’t get it at all. They didn’t do the daily morning grooming either, the brushing of the teeth, and combing the hair, etc.

While Bloomingtons relatively low violent crime rate might put residents at ease, the citys high number of physicians per capita makes it easy for seniors to find a primary care doctor whos personable and conveniently located.

While the average Minnesota resident in assisted living pays around $3,800 per month for long-term care, Bloomington residents are paying closer to $4,800. Although the citys overall cost of living is nearly 5% above the national average, assisted living in Bloomington is 18% above the $4,051 a month most seniors around the country are paying.
