I highly recommend it. I’ve been to a couple of other places, and I really like Meadowbrook better. People are very friendly. All I have to do is say hi, and they respond in kind. The staff are absolutely wonderful. The food is great, and I like that they give you a menu to order from. Like all senior centers though, it just costs too much.
The staff in memory care is very caring, friendly, approachable and assisting the residents. The activities director is good at communicating with family that is at a distance to visit via Zoom. I would recommend the community to others. Meadowbrook has an app that says what activities your loved one has participated in with pictures. Baking, gardening, games, socials, and more are some of the activities offered.
We chose Meadowbrook of Agoura Hills because it was by far the nicest that we visited and it is close to my husbands office. They staff members are also very sweet. My mothers room here is a great size for her, bigger than her last facility. The best part about the community so far has been how good the staff are at communicating with the families, especially during COVID. I would recommend.
