An Assisted Living Community May Be A Good Choice If:
- You need more personal care services than are feasible at home or in an independent living retirement community.
- You need help with some activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing or minor help with taking medications.
- You need supportive health care but dont need the around-the-clock medical care and supervision of a nursing home.
A Safe And Secure Environment
Seasons Assisted Living community is a safe and secure environment where seniors can go to live a relatively independent lifestyle but also receive support with certain daily activities. These activities may include bathing, dressing, medication administration, mobility and more. Our trained staff members are on hand to help you perform these tasks safely while still respecting your independence. Seasons Assisted Living communities also provide excellent accommodations for seniors, as well as an active and social environment where seniors can meet other people in the same stage of life.
Assisted Living does not provide advanced, round-the-clock medical care, such as treatment for specific conditions like advanced Alzheimers. Skilled nursing homes, on the other hand, are designed to house and assist individuals who have health conditions that require constant monitoring and round-the-clock availability of medical personnel. You may not know which level of care you or your loved one needs. Thats not a problem. Our assisted living communities can do an assessment to determine the level of care needed for your situation.

Staff or having sex in empty rooms using residence private phone not caring for the needy although I heard food is great a lot of sexual harassment going on with employees and management. From what I’ve seen and heard this place is a hell hole for the residence employees are more concerned on hooking up with each other than taking care of the needy.
Directors did nothing about sexual harassment to my sister, a resident there. It happened repeatedly to several other residents as well..reported and nothing done. Finally Madelin, the RN spoke with the man and did something about it.Also, they opened her mail !! A Federal Offense and a Felony. It is called an “Assisted living” Facility yet there is very little assistance there.Ann, the Director of Activities is a jewel. The food is wonderful. Most staff are friendly but do more chatting and laughing among themselves than resident care. This place will lose their license soon. Mark my words.

Do Face Masks Protect From Coronavirus
Surgical masks are a common sight in areas with coronavirus outbreaks. But are they effective in protecting from infection?
Experts say that they offer some protection, but only when worn properly. And even when worn properly, air and germs can still get around the sides of the mask.
AARP writes that according to Amesh Adalja, M.D., an infectious disease physician and senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security, a typical disposable mask can help prevent large-particle droplets from reaching your mouth and nose two common areas where viruses enter the body.
Adalja says, But you really have to be meticulous when wearing them and not put your hand underneath them and touch your face or do anything that would contaminate your face and kind of obviate the reason for having the mask.
Currently, the CDC doesnt recommend that people who are well wear a face mask. They should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
In addition, a face mask will restrict breathing. So if someone already has a health condition that affects their ability to breathe, wearing a face mask could do more harm than good.
If you wonder if your older adult or you should be wearing a face mask, check with their or your doctor first.
However, face masks should be worn by people who show symptoms of COVID-19. This helps prevent the spread of the disease to others. They also should be worn by people who are taking care of someone who is sick.
