i visited and spoke with many residents relaxing as they were waiting for rides or relaxing outside and each told me of how much they liked living at Windsor Court. I had the opportunity to eat in the full service restaurant and really was surprised at how good the food was and how pleasant the servers were! I have looked at several other such properties in the area, none had the proximity to a library, 2 movie theaters, Ralphs Grocery, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, several fast food restaurants and most vital, the Desert Regional Hospital with a trauma care emergency room, every type of specialty provider… I have been living with full-blown AIDS since 1994 when i received my medical care at UCLA and subsequantly relocated to Palm Springs in 2007 and have found the local medical services on par Anyhow, I have searched to find to recommend to my parents who are in their mid 70s starting at Windsor Court and again after my search… This is my only confident choice to trust with my parents health and happiness!

I Visited This Facility

I really didn’t care for anything at Windsor Court. The staff was very nice, but the place was extremely old. The parking is inadequate and a lot of the cars are parked at the side of the street. You have to go out of the front door in order to go to the back. Their dining room is huge, but the lunch and dinner menus are the same, and there’s no way I’m eating hotdogs and hamburgers for dinner. The place was an old hotel and the rooms were of various sizes, but they didn’t have any that were available for us to look at. However, they did have a swimming pool in the back.

My tour at Windsor Court was nice. It was an older building but had been updated. And it looked lovely. I thought they had done a really great job of transforming an older facility. Overall, I though they were great. They were just a bit farther away from where I live.

Being out of state I have not been able to see the inside of the community, but the staff I have spoken with over the phone have been really friendly. Our loved ones has dementia so we have to take it with a grain of salt but they say sometimes the meals are just okay.

My parent resided for a few years in the memory care assisted living section of Windsor Court. The care givers have a heart of gold even with the most difficult residents. It can be quite trying and there should be more care givers per resident ratio. Food is very good, good variety and snacks available all the time. Nice gated patio around the pool area and nice mountian views. Main lobby is beautiful and common areas well appointed. It is one a of the better facilities in Riverside County.

I would not recommend this assisted living facility. Since my Father has been there, the food has gotten worse, cleanliness worse and activities less. It reminds me of a nursing home instead of an assisted living facility. The elderly do not get treated with respect. There are some employees who are there because they care but most are there for a paycheck.
