Reviews For Woodlands Assisted Living
I would not hesitate to have my mom stay at Woodlands Assisted Living. she likes it here and we especially like the room that my mom has, it’s very lovely. its also a nice size, so she has plenty of space.
This was our 2nd choice, and really liked the community.
We chose Woodlands at the time because after speaking to a lot of people, we found out that no matter how much money you pay, you will get the same care. Also the convenient location played a factor for us so that she can be close. They tell me they have a chef on site cooking gourmet meals, but after seeing the meals they are not truly chef prepared. She has foods she is not able to eat and they continue to feed her these things. Whenever I speak to the director she is not able to give me straight answers on things. I think that she needs to be more involved in things that are going on. There has been a lack of communication and understanding and I feel they do not truly care about the residents, it is more about filling the beds. I do not feel that the value for the money is there for the amount of care she is receiving. If your loved one is going into any facility, you need to make sure you are an advocate for them.
Mom loves The Woodlands. It’s a smaller, quaint place. Mom definitely didn’t want to go to a massive place. The staff truly cares about the residents and Mom has really enjoyed the social activities they have.
